Paul: Absent from the Body – II Corinthians 5:1-5
Paul was anticipating his future death and how it would affect his relationship with God. Paul was very aware that death is like sleeping and the passage of time does not seem to happen for a deceased individual.
Paul in Heaven? II Corinthians 12:2-3
Did Paul actually go to Heaven as some believe after reading II Cor. 12:2-3? Answer: No.
Liberty: Galatians 5:13-15
Paul is clearly explaining to the gentile Galatian church to love one another and not to be mean and selfish (sinful) against each other.
Final Judgement
Revelation 20:11-15 is the great white throne judgment of God. This is where God judges ALL who have ever lived either to life eternal with Him or to eternal death, burned up in the lake of fire.
Our Destiny
The God given destiny of mankind is more than we can imagine. We are to become actual adopted members of the family of God and to live forever like Him in spiritual bodies ruling this earth as His servant Kings and Priests for ever and ever and ever. Amen.
The Thief on the Cross
“And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you today, you shall be with Me in paradise.” This translation with the comma after the word “today” clearly shows sometime in the future, the thief would be in paradise with Jesus.
Slavery and Polygamy
Slavery was much different in the past. In many ways it was more of being an indentured servant and the laws did protect against cruelty, even to foreign slaves.
God the Omnipotent
What God can do in the spiritual world we do not yet see clearly (I Cor. 13:12), nor do we totally understand His power and magnitude.
